Karl-Josef Laumann, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, was a guest at the Textile Academy on April 27, 2023.
The importance of the textile campus, Textile Factory 7.0 and the Textile Academy to the stakeholders was clear from the list of participants: Mönchengladbach’s Lord Mayor Felix Wolfgang Heinrichs attended, as did Jochen Klenner (CDU), member of the state parliament, as well as representatives from the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Employment Agency, Dr. Walter Erasmy (Managing Director of the Verband der Nordwestdeutschen Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie e.V.), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kleinebrink (Managing Director of the Verband der Rheinischen Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie), Prof. Dr. Fabienne Köller-Marek (Chancellor of Hochschule Niederrhein, Krefeld) and Rolf A. Königs (Chairman of the Verband der Rheinischen Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie).
