Online workshop: Onboarding & start-up phase – targeted support for Gen Z trainees with Anja K. Haftmann

Seminar objective:

• The participants recognize what young Generation Z trainees really need today in order to start their training with motivation.
• You will learn practical strategies for a well thought-out, up-to-date onboarding process – right from the signing of the contract.
• They receive impulses on how to create a positive training environment that promotes loyalty, commitment and personal responsibility.

Methods:

Theory input, exchange in plenary, group work, reflection & feedback

Seminar contents:

1. better understand Generation Z

• Classify values, communication and learning behavior
• Targeted influence on motivation and satisfaction
• Consider expectations of training and the role of trainer

2. start onboarding early

• Organizing the time between signing the contract and launch
• Ensure a personal approach and clarity
• Using preparation formats creatively and effectively

• Providing structure and orientation right from the start
• Establishing a welcoming culture with a system and rituals
• Using feedback, sponsorships and etiquette sensibly
