  • Trainers and mentors
  • Staff responsible for selecting, supporting and guiding trainees or new colleagues

Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, you will be familiar with tried-and-tested methods for reaching suitable candidates despite a low number of applications. Through simple, practical exercises – rather than complex procedures or numerous interview questions – you will learn to quickly assess whether applicants are suitable for the apprenticeship programme – particularly in production – and are a good fit for your company.

  • Contents:
Tried-and-tested strategies for targeting and attracting suitable candidates
  • Creating a simple, skills-based job profile
  • Conducting and evaluating short, practical aptitude tests in the workplace (e.g. on the production floor)
  • Asking a few, targeted, effective questions
  • Recognising and avoiding common cognitive biases
  • Making well-informed recruitment decisions
