Preparatory course “Industrial foreman in the textile industry”

Course costs:

Course content:

Part A – Cross-discipline basic qualification:

Legal awareness

Information, communication and planning

Cooperation within the company

Part B – Action-specific qualification:

  • Production and operating technology

  • Planning and control systems, communication channels
  • Occupational, environmental and health protection

Area of activity “Management and personnel”

  • Quality management

Lecturers:

Subject-specific experts with practical experience are employed on the course.

Lesson times (in each case):

  • Thursday |2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | 6 teaching units
  • Friday | 08:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. | 10 teaching units or
    09:45 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. | 10 teaching units
  • Saturday | 09:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | 6 teaching units

There are no lessons during school vacations.

Admission requirements:

For admission to the IHK final examination, proof must be provided, among other things:

  • A successfully completed final examination in a recognized training occupation (which can be assigned to the textile industry occupations) or a successfully completed final examination in another recognized training occupation followed by at least one year of professional experience.
  • At least four years of professional experience (this includes the training period and employment that continues during the further training to become an industrial foreman).
  • The successful completion of the AdA examination.

Examinations:

  • The examination consists of two parts: Basic qualifications (four written exams) and action-specific qualifications (two written exams + technical discussion)
  • Registration: Online via the IHK portal
