Under the umbrella of Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH, industry-specific further and advanced training courses such as technician or master craftsman courses are offered for employees at all levels of the textile and clothing industry. Further training is provided in cooperation with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences – specifically with the Hochschule Niederrhein Transfer GmbH and the Department of Textiles & Clothing. Our aim is to offer seminars on all aspects of the textile chain. We offer basic seminars in the fields of textile technology, clothing technology and design, as well as specialist seminars and webinars on more specific topics such as knitting technology or intercultural cooperation.

Funding opportunities

Qualification Opportunities Act

The Qualification Opportunities Act enables companies to use state funding to prepare their employees for future challenges through further training. For employees with or without a vocational school qualification, but also for jobseekers, AZAV-approved further training courses offer the possibility of receiving up to 100% funding for the costs incurred. The Qualification Opportunities Act applies, for example, to our certificate course for textile production specialists (IHK). Jobseekers, employees and companies can have up to 100% of the costs of this seminar reimbursed.
