Vocational school

The Textilakademie NRW is run by the Berufskolleg gGmbH of the same name. Vocational school lessons take place in blocks. Each block lasts two weeks. Six to seven blocks are planned per school year at the Textilakademie NRW. The specialist classes are divided into training occupations and training years. The only exceptions are the apprenticeships for product designers and product inspectors.

Cooperation with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences enables practical lessons In detail, this means

  • Extensive use of laboratory facilities
  • Comprehensive use of the machines
  • Scope: up to 2,000 hours / year in total

No school fees are charged
No school fees are charged for the vocational school at the Textilakademie NRW. There are no costs for teaching materials and pedagogical support. Companies pay a voluntary contribution of 1,200 euros per trainee per year. It is important to those involved in the Textile Academy NRW to implement the wishes and ideas of companies, students and parents. The aim is to develop as much content and framework conditions as possible together. The service concept at the private vocational school is decisive.
