On May 19, 2025, the 19th NRW textile and clothing industry meeting took place at the AUNDE Group in Mönchengladbach. It was hosted by ZiTex – Textil & Mode NRW and the Verband der Nordwestdeutschen Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie e. V.
The event focused on the current challenges facing the industry – from rising energy costs and increasing bureaucracy to strategic future projects such as Textile Factory 7.0. NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur was also present and provided important input on the future of the textile industry.
After the presentations and a lively discussion round, the participants had the opportunity to take a tour of the AUNDE Group and gain an insight into modern textile production processes.
