General Terms and Conditions (GTCs)
Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH
Status: January 2024
1. registrations for seminars or courses will be considered in the order in which they are received and must be made in digital form via the Textilakademie NRW website or by e-mail. Registration by telephone is not sufficient.
2. a minimum number of participants and a maximum number of participants (for pedagogical / didactic reasons) are specified in the respective registration documents for the implementation of the seminars or courses. If fewer registrations than the minimum number of participants are received, the seminar or course may be canceled by Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH without any liability and/or recourse claims being asserted against Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH.
3. if more registrations are received than the maximum number of participants, they will automatically be placed on a waiting list. The binding registration remains valid until 3 working days before the start of the seminar or course.
4. if participation is not possible via the waiting lists and if desired or possible, priority can be given to participation in another, comparable seminar or course.
5. there is no entitlement to participation through registration for seminars or courses alone. A written confirmation of registration will be sent before a seminar or course takes place.
6 You have the right to cancel your registration for a seminar within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you receive confirmation of your participation in a seminar. Exception: If a seminar is booked less than 14 days before the start of the seminar, the right of withdrawal does not apply. In this case, the cancellation deadlines and costs stated in the respective registration documents apply. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send the cancellation in writing to Textilakademie NRW or by e-mail to weiterbildung@textilakademie.de. The date of receipt by the Textilakademie NRW shall be decisive for the timeliness.
7. by registering, participants agree to the automatic processing of their personal data for the purpose of organizing the seminar or course. Participants in seminars or courses receive information on data protection in accordance with the GDPR. This data protection information is available on the respective registration pages of the seminars or courses or at https://www.textilakademie.de/datenschutz.html can be accessed.
8 Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH reserves the right to refuse registration for seminars or courses for good cause.
9. the seminar or course participants must pay the seminar or course fees in full within 14 calendar days of receipt of the invoice, irrespective of any third-party services. The invoice amount is payable by bank transfer to the account of Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH stated on the invoice.
10. if payment is not made despite a reminder of a grace period, the participating person and/or the company liable to pay may be excluded from further participation in seminars or courses without the claim to payment lapsing. In addition, participation in any performance review and/or the issue of a certificate of attendance and/or any certificates or attestations may be made dependent on full payment of the invoice amount.
11 Participants who do not attend the seminar or course events or only attend part of the time shall remain obliged to pay the full seminar or course fees.
12. it is possible to nominate a substitute participant. In this case, the own obligation to pay the seminar or course fees shall lapse from the binding registration of the replacement person.
13 Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH expressly reserves the right to change the program of the seminars or courses.
14. we also expressly reserve the right to change the dates of the seminars or courses. Significant date changes caused by Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung – e.g. a change in the day on which the seminar begins – entitle participants who have already registered to cancel their seminar or course registration free of charge. This right does not apply to changes to previously specified times.
15. Textilakademie NRW – Weiterbildung GmbH is not liable for accidents or for damage, loss or theft of items brought along by participants.
16. in the event that individual clauses of these terms and conditions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
