Seminar objective:
In a globalized textile and clothing industry, systematic quality control is essential in order to reliably meet customer requirements, legal requirements and sustainable standards. This two-day seminar provides practical knowledge about textile testing procedures, legal framework conditions and efficient testing routines along the entire process chain – from incoming goods to production and final inspection. Participants will learn how to specifically test and evaluate design features, seam qualities and textile performance characteristics. Theory and practice are closely interlinked: textile testing equipment is demonstrated in the laboratory, seam strength is analyzed and color fastness is assessed.
