Background:
The two-day course is intended as an entry-level qualification and appreciation for employees who do not yet have any training and who are too old for training. It is intended not only to impart basic specialist knowledge, but also to encourage employees to continue their training as textile cleaners in the future. Our lecturers are all professionals: master textile cleaners, entrepreneurs and educators.
Seminar objectives:
- Strengthening individual skills: improving independence, commitment, everyday creativity and motivation in order to achieve faster and better work results in the company
- Expanding methodological skills: thinking in contexts and cycles, improving work techniques, which leads to a structured and more relaxed way of working
- Improve social skills: become a point of contact for other team members and thus contribute to improving team efficiency and team spirit
- Reproduce the following specialist skills and apply them in practice: Fundamentals, operational throughput and presorting, dirt removal analysis, overview of finish and logistics
Contents:
The seminar contents are selected individually according to the wishes of the participants from the following range of topics:
- Introduction: Textile cleaning and textile service
- Basics of textile science
- Soiling
- Basics of hygiene, environmental hygiene, hygiene plan
- Incoming goods, customer-specific labeling (barcode, RFID, Polymark, Hydrofix)
- Practical pre-sorting
- Washing basics (Sinner’s circle, water, detergents, handling hazardous substances)
- Washing machine technology
- Basic knowledge of local stain removal and spotting
- Differentiation between washing – wet cleaning – dry cleaning (dry cleaning)
- Basics of finishing technology
- Expedition, logistics
