Target:

The specialist seminar “Fabric technology” offers participants a comprehensive insight into the production of fabrics. The contents of the seminar include the types of weaving technology and weft insertion processes, as well as the basics of weave theory. After the seminar, participants will be able to recognize simple weave patterns and draw weave cartridges. The seminar is complemented by an exciting visit to the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences’ machine park. Here, participants can experience various weaving machines in action.

Lecturer:
André Pixberg has been working as a development engineer at vombaur GmbH & Co. KG for 17 years. He has extensive knowledge in the field of fabric production and narrow textiles. He would now like to pass on the knowledge and experience he has gained in the industry to interested parties as a lecturer at the Textile Academy.
