Objective:
The one-day webinar “Data protection and security in the textile industry” offers a practice-oriented introduction to the data protection requirements and challenges that arise specifically in the textile and clothing industry. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the basics of data protection, relevant legal framework conditions and the structured implementation of an effective data protection organization in their own company. The focus is on industry-specific issues – for example, when dealing with customer data in e-commerce, when using digital tools along the international supply chain or when processing employee data in the production environment. Topics such as data security, the data protection-compliant handling of service providers and everyday data protection are clearly conveyed using practical examples. The aim of the webinar is to enable managers from the textile industry, for example, to design data protection processes securely and efficiently.
