The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of IT system implementation in companies. In addition to the basics of IT system introduction, participants will be provided with practical implementation strategies for selecting and introducing new IT systems.

Seminar contents:

Basics of IT system implementation in companies

  • From stand-alone solutions (e.g. CAD) to complex ERP systems

Selection of an IT system

  • Needs analysis: Define the benefits and value of the IT system, record functionalities, define requirements for the IT system
  • Market analysis: There is no such thing as the perfect solution! – Structure of a benefit analysis and definition of K.O. criteria
  • Make system selection: Searching for references, prototyping and making a purchase recommendation

Introduction of an IT system

  • Building a project team
  • Preparation and implementation of a project plan/training plan
  • Creating skills in the team (multiplier training and motivation)
  • Dealing with difficulties in change processes
  • Continuous improvement processes

Michael Schulze
Graduate engineer in production technology, REFA teacher, lecturer, former head of IT at Formatech GmbH and project manager for the introduction of an ERP system.
