The IHK certificate costs an additional € 450.00 (not eligible for funding).

Target:

This certificate course qualifies unskilled or semi-skilled persons for employment in textile production. The course includes extensive basic knowledge in the field of textile technology as well as specialist knowledge in one of the main areas of nonwovens technology, knitting and weaving. The course consists mainly of theoretical instruction. The laboratories of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences are used for practical illustration. Upon successful completion, participants receive the IHK certificate “Textile Production Specialist”.

The course is AZAV-certified

Seminar contents:

  • Basic Module I – Textile Fibers
  • Basic module II – Linear textiles
  • Basic module III – Textile surfaces
  • Basic Module IV – Occupational Safety/Quality
  • Subject module I-IV of the chosen specialization

A learning objective check is carried out after each module.

Lecturers:

The lecturers are made up of teachers from the NRW Textile Academy, staff from companies and the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

Certificates of participation:

  • Official certificate from the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein upon successful completion of the course (all 8 learning objective tests passed)
  • Textile Academy NRW certificate with grading (also available without grading on request)

Funding opportunities:

  • Qualification Opportunities Act“: The further training of employees can be subsidized through partial or full reimbursement of the course costs as well as through wage subsidies (Employment Agency). The exact amount of funding depends on the size of the company and the company’s training requirements, among other things. It is between 15% and 100% of the training costs and between 25% and 75% of the wage subsidy.
