The Association of the Northwest German Textile and Clothing Industry, Münster

The Association of the Northwest German Textile and Clothing Industry based in Münster, is an employers’ and trade association for around 260 companies in Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen and Hamburg in the industry of the same name. The association’s member companies employ around 28,000 people in Germany. Turnover amounts to around 6.2 billion euros. This makes the Association of the Northwest German Textile and Clothing Industry the largest regional association in the sector and represents more than a quarter of the business sector. In addition to its headquarters in Münster, the Association of the Northwest German Textile and Clothing Industry also has offices in Bielefeld, Hanover and Hamburg to provide its members with local support.

The Association of the Rhineland Textile and Clothing Industry, Wuppertal

The Association of the Rhineland Textile and Clothing Industry e.V. is the employers’ and trade association for companies in the textile and clothing industry in the North Rhine region of North Rhine-Westphalia with the administrative districts of Düsseldorf and Cologne.

The purpose of the association is to represent and promote the common socio-political and – on a national level – economic policy interests of its members. It concludes collective agreements with IG Metall for its member companies in the textile industry.
